Received a counter code? Then make an appointment at the municipality

When you request a DigiD via the DigiD website, you will receive a counter code. With this code you can visit the DigiD desk of the municipality of Doetinchem. Always make an appointment for this. There are several DigiD desks in the Netherlands and abroad where you can go. You will receive a DigiD activation code at the DigiD desk. With this activation code you can complete your application on DigiD.nl.

Please note: your counter code is valid for 30 days. Make sure to come to a DigiD desk within those 30 days.

Tip! Make an appointment quickly to collect your activation code. The day of the appointment may not be later than 30 days after your DigiD application. You can also send an e-mail to digid@doetinchem.nl to make an appointment.

Are you not registered in the RNI? For more information, see the Non-Resident Registration (in Dutch) page.

Do you receive an error message when applying for DigiD.nl?

It is possible that your information is not properly registered in the RNI. You must first change your details in the RNI. After the data has been changed, it will take 24 hours before you can apply for a DigiD. Do you have a question about your registration in the RNI? Send an e-mail with a copy of your passport to bsn@doetinchem.nl.
